06.10.2021 - Greek Online Championship 2022(WBIF)
For participation in the tournament the naming of a nationality- independent from the place of residence - has to be provided. Players with other nationalities may participate if they see their center of life in the country and if they will not take part in or for another state association in the future.
The tournament will start on 01.11.2021 . The duration of the tournament dependents on the number of participants.
The tournament will be played in 5-times-Ko - mode: Each participant plays until he has either lost 5 times and is therefore eliminated or the only participant with fewer defeats wins the tournament. All pairings are played to 13 points . The draw for the pairings will be made round by round according to the Swiss system tournament software by Hans-Jürgen Werner. A tie-breaker rating does not take place . The calculated performance rate has no influence on the outcome of the tournament . In addition, the EBIF tournament rules apply.
For the rating of the tournament count the matches won . Both the match points of the individual matches and the performance ratings have no effect on the prizes but pr can be used for the qualification at wbif cups.
All matches are played to 13 points . The matches of the tournament will be played at server heroes.backgammonstudio.com . Registration with this link: "register new User" and Inviter "WBIF". The nick name for BG Studio Heroes is recorded and published at registration.. In special cases playing at Gridgammon or Wbif Tiger can be allowed.
The result of the game has NOT to be reported!! BG Studio Heroes reports automatic!.
To participate in the tournament a starting fee of 20 Euro will be charged. Payment is possible by Paypal: wbif@gmx.net
Up to 40 players : 3 prizes (50-30-20), 41-60 players : 4 prizes (40-30-20-10), 61 and more players : 5 prizes (30-25-20-15-10). The 3 top ranked players are also rewarded with cups or medals from Greek bg Fed. The registration fee is 15% (10% for Wbif and 5% for Greek bg Fed.)
Further prizes: The places 1,2 and 3 free entry for championscup, places 4 and 5 free entry for World Cup.
The WBIF-rules are apllied. Matches can be recorded or streamed.
