Profile	Ralf Koch has been playing backgammon since the late 1980s and has gained a lot of experience playing Chouette and point games with additional cubes such as 128, 256, etc., which were popular in the 1980s and 1990s. After a long break, he has been participating in national tournaments since 2010. His training partners have included Frank Simon, with whom he has achieved top PRs several times. He is not a typical BMAB Title and PR player who likes to use the term “dynamic PR”, which in his view is made up of not only mathematics but also momentary perception, daily form and experience. In addition to regional successes, he became German Backgammon Association Champion in 2025. His credo: „life and games are like dice thrown into a buffalo box, ... you never know what will come“ As a fun-loving person, he rarely plays online.
